SITUATION VACANT

Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) invites the applications from well Qualified and experienced persons for the following two (02) posts as a part of its PMU established under the Project for Design Development Installation and Commissioning of -Procurement System. These posts shall be filed purely on contractual basis initially for the period of one (01) year and extendable up to three (03) years.

1. Chief Software Specialist:

Brief Responsibilities: Chief Software Specialist shall be responsible to DG (M&E) PPRA, and impart its technical support during all the phases of the project cycle. (Detailed ToRs shall be signed after selection of the candidate).
Qualification: MS Computer Science from recognized and well reputed University with background of four (04) years professional degree either in Computer Science or Engineering
Experience: At least ten (10) years rich experience in the field of Software Development out of which at least five (5) years shall be of Public Sector for design, development, installation and commissioning of Large Scale Enterprise Software Systems, MS Degree from the university of developed country along with thorough understanding of Procurement Management and IEEE Standards shall be treated as an asset
Expected Lump Sum Remuneration: Competitive market based salary keeping in view of the profile of the candidate

2. Principal Computer Engineer:

 Brief Responsibilities: Principal Computer Engineer shall be responsible to Chief Software Specialist and impart its technical support during all the phases of the project cycle. Detailed ToRs shall be signed after selection of the candidate
Qualification: BS/MS in Computer Engineering or MS in Computer Science with background of four (04) years degree in Electronics Engineering
Experience: At least seven (7) years rich experience, in case of MS and ten (10) years in case of BS degree in the field of hardware computer engineering with strong capacity of determining the compatibility of hardware with software requirements for effective functioning of the software. The candidate shall have thorough understanding of IEEE Standards
Expected Lump Sun Remuneration: Competitive market based salary keeping in view of the profile of the candidate.
